Poompugar accepts listing and correction inquiries from business owners, authorized managers, professionals, event organizers, nonprofit representatives, community organizations, Tamil schools, temple teams, and people who can point to accurate public information about a business or event.

A submission does not guarantee publication. Poompugar may review the request, ask for clarification, edit wording for consistency, decline the submission, or keep a page out of the public index if the information is incomplete, unverifiable, duplicated, promotional without substance, or not aligned with the current directory purpose.

What information to prepare

Before using Add Business, Claim Listing, or Contact, prepare accurate public information that helps a visitor understand what the business does and how to verify it. Useful details include:

• Business, organization, professional, or event name.
• City, state, and service area.
• Primary category, such as restaurant, grocery store, CPA, immigration attorney, Tamil class, wedding vendor, temple, community organization, or event.
• Official website or public source URL, if available.
• Public phone number, contact page, or inquiry method.
• Short factual description of services, products, programs, or event details.
• Correction details if an existing listing is outdated or inaccurate.

Listing accuracy guidelines

Directory pages should be useful to visitors and fair to businesses. Submit information that can be checked, is written in plain language, and does not exaggerate credentials, sponsorship, ranking, popularity, or endorsement. Avoid copied marketing text from another site unless you own it and have the right to submit it. Poompugar may rewrite descriptions to keep pages factual and consistent.

If your business provides regulated or professional services, visitors may need to verify licenses, registrations, insurance, engagement terms, conflicts, fees, and scope of work directly with you. For events, classes, food businesses, venues, temples, and community programs, visitors may need current hours, dates, registration rules, refund policies, accessibility details, and availability.

No fake reviews or ratings policy

Poompugar does not create, request, or publish fake reviews, fake ratings, fake testimonials, fake verification badges, or fake customer stories. Do not submit review text pretending to be from customers. Do not ask Poompugar to invent star ratings, rankings, awards, sponsorships, endorsements, or verification claims.

If review or rating features are ever introduced, they should be handled with clear rules and moderation. Until then, Poompugar listings should focus on factual discovery information, public source links, business context, and visitor due-diligence reminders.

Sponsored or featured listing disclosure

Poompugar may offer sponsored, featured, partner, or paid placements in the future or on selected pages. Paid placement must be labeled when active. Sponsorship can affect placement, but it does not mean Poompugar guarantees quality, licensing, pricing, availability, credentials, outcomes, or customer satisfaction.

Read the Sponsored Listing Disclosure before asking about paid or featured visibility. If you see a sponsored label that appears unclear or inaccurate, use the contact page and include the exact URL.
